Cima di Menna, Mountain peak in Bergamasque Alps, Italy

Cima di Menna is a mountain peak in the Bergamasque Alps standing at about 2300 meters, surrounded by steep gorges that cut deep into the landscape. The summit sits in the Lombardy region and serves as a recognizable landmark within this alpine terrain.

The peak emerged early as a destination for alpine exploration in the Bergamasque region. Marked trails developed during the early days of mountaineering and continue to define how people reach the summit today.

The mountain paths here connect hillside villages through routes shaped by generations of local use. These ways remain woven into how nearby communities experience and move through their landscape.

The route up starts from Zorzone at 850 meters elevation and follows marked path 234 toward the summit. Along the way you pass by Mattuida hut at 1460 meters, which serves as a rest point before the final climb.

The peak stands out sharply from its immediate surroundings due to its prominence. This distinctive rise above nearby terrain makes it recognizable to hikers and climbers moving through the alpine landscape.
