Santa Maria Assunta

Santa Maria Assunta is a Romanesque collegiate church at the heart of Camaiore, identifiable by its stone bell tower. The interior is divided into three aisles and topped by a central dome that crowns the main prayer space.

Construction began in the 13th century, with the building taking its current form in 1448 when the dome above the presbytery was added. This renovation marked a significant shift in the church's architectural presence.
