Forte Piovezzano, Military fort in Pastrengo, Italy.

Forte Piovezzano stands on a hill at 200 meters altitude with a trapezoidal layout and its main front directed towards Lake Garda.

The fort, constructed between 1859 and 1861 under Field Marshal Josef Radetzky's command, formed part of the defensive system known as Quadrilatero.

The structure represents 19th-century military engineering with specific architectural elements including ramparts, casemates, and strategic artillery positions.

The fort contains multiple interior rooms that served as storage spaces, workshops, and living quarters for the military personnel stationed at the facility.

A group of Alpine Volunteers from Piovezzano currently manages the restoration of this former Austrian military installation.
