Galleria nazionale della Puglia

The Galleria Nazionale della Puglia displays 229 paintings and 108 drawings from the 16th to early 20th century inside the Renaissance Palazzo Sylos-Calo.

The museum opened in 2009 following the donation of an extensive art collection by siblings Girolamo and Rosaria Devanna to create a national gallery.

The collection features works by Titian, Veronese, Gentileschi, Delacroix, and De Nittis, with special focus on Neapolitan and Puglian painters through different periods.

The gallery welcomes visitors from Monday through Sunday between 9:00 and 20:00, except Wednesdays, with wheelchair accessibility throughout the building.

The museum contains six chronological sections presenting Italian and European masterpieces, though 70 paintings remain in storage due to space limitations.
