The Sacrario ai caduti della Resistenza on Monte Sabbiuno is a memorial in Bologna consisting of 53 stones placed along a ridge, each bearing the engraved name of a fallen resistance fighter. A curved concrete wall with gun slots represents the execution squad and shapes the overall site.

In December 1944, Nazi forces executed roughly 100 partisans and political prisoners here, with the events occurring between the 14th and 23rd of that month. These executions were among the region's darkest moments of the conflict.

The 54th stone at the memorial stands for unidentified victims, representing 47 unknown people who died during the December executions. This unnamed memorial reminds visitors that many resistance fighters were never officially recorded.
