Monte Cazzola rises to 2,330 meters in elevation within the Lepontine Alps, forming part of the Valle Devero landscape near Baceno.
The installation of Monte Cazzola's two-person chairlift in 2003 marked a transformation in the accessibility of the Alpe Devero ski area.
The mountain stands within the Alpe Veglia and Alpe Devero Natural Park, where visitors regularly observe local wildlife and alpine vegetation.
The chairlift system operates at 2.5 meters per second, transporting up to 898 passengers per hour between the 1640-meter base and 1960-meter station.
A connecting ridge extends from Monte Cazzola to Punta d'Orogna, creating a natural pathway through the alpine environment.
