Monte Ramaceto

Monte Ramaceto is a mountain summit in the Ligurian Apennines that rises to approximately 1,345 meters and is surrounded by dense forests. The peak features numerous hiking trails across its slopes, providing routes of varying difficulty for different skill levels.

The mountain has served as a natural reference point for people traveling through the Ligurian mountains since regional hiking routes were established in the area. Over time, it became an important waypoint along established trails that draw walkers and mountain enthusiasts to the region.

The Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, passing through Monte Ramaceto, connects local communities and draws hikers from across Europe throughout the year.

The summit can be reached via marked trails starting from nearby mountain passes, with different routes offering varying levels of challenge for hikers. Before heading out, it is wise to check which trail matches your skills and how much time you should allow for the walk.

Monte Ramaceto ranks second in prominence among fourteen peaks in the Aveto area and tenth out of 2,280 mountains across Liguria.
