The venue hosted a diverse mix of events, from basketball games to concerts, and shaped the cultural life of Milan's western area. People gathered here to watch sports together or experience live music and performances.
The hall was located at Via Antonio Sant'Elia 33 in Milan's western area and was accessible by public transportation. Visitors should check in advance what type of event was happening, as the program varied greatly.
The hall was briefly home to Olimpia Milano, one of Italy's top basketball teams, before the club relocated in 1990. The team left the arena after just a few years to find a larger stadium.
