The Palazzo dei Congressi spans five stories with a central core and extending wings, featuring decorative brick patterns and floral tile friezes.

Originally opened in 1901 as Grand Hotel des Thermes, the palace was designed by architect Luigi Broggi and later purchased by hotelier César Ritz.

The Salone Moresco displays neo-Moorish decorations by Galileo Chini, including stained glass windows manufactured in Borgo San Lorenzo.

The conference center contains multiple halls accommodating up to 650 people, with two public parking areas within 200 meters of the building.

The building houses the Biblioteca Comunale Gian Domenico Romagnosi and served as a filming location for Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor.
