Palais Galli

Palais Galli is a neo-eclectic residential palace in the Santa Lucia district, defined by a large quadrilateral block structure with elaborate decorative details. The facade displays design patterns from early 20th-century Italian residential architecture with numerous embellished features.

The building was designed by architect Gino Coppedè in 1927 during the modernization period of the Santa Lucia neighborhood. It emerged during a time of intensive residential construction that shaped Naples' urban landscape.

The palace reflects Italian architectural fashion of the 1920s, blending different artistic influences within a single residential structure. Visitors notice the decorative details that set the building apart from its surroundings.

The building stands in the San Ferdinando district and retains its original residential function, placing it within an active neighborhood context. Visitors can admire the architecture from outside while walking through the characteristic streets of this area.

Architect Gino Coppedè also created Quartiere Coppedè in Rome, an entire neighborhood with a similar artistic approach. Those familiar with both places recognize the characteristic signature of the same designer.
