The Museo artistico industriale Filippo Palizzi displays a collection of 6,000 ceramic pieces across multiple exhibition sections within its halls.
The museum opened its doors on February 7, 1882, under the direction of founder Gaetano Filangieri, who established it as a center for industrial arts.
The museum holds archaeological artifacts from Magna Graecia, discovered in Cuma, Teano, Bari, and Brindisi, representing the regional artistic heritage.
Visitors can access the museum Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with prior appointment through the contact number 081 7647471.
The collection includes Coptic textiles transferred from Paris Guimet Museum in 1909 and Egyptian artifacts from late dynastic and Ptolemaic periods.
