Nostra Signora del Boschetto Sanctuary, Baroque sanctuary in Camogli, Italy
The Nostra Signora del Boschetto Sanctuary features a single nave decorated with frescoes and columns adorned with gold-leafed Corinthian capitals.
The sanctuary originated from a small shrine with a Madonna painting in 1518, where Angela Schiaffino experienced an apparition leading to chapel construction.
The sanctuary belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Genoa and maintains traditional religious services following the Roman Rite liturgy.
Located between Camogli and Ruta, the sanctuary stands where three paths converge, making it accessible for visitors throughout the year.
During the annual September feast, twenty people carry a 550-kilogram statue of Madonna through local streets followed by celebrations.
