Rebibbia, Prison in Rome, Italy
Rebibbia is a suburb of Rome, Italy, on the Via Tiburtina on the northeast edge of the city.
The suburb, first developed at the start of the 20th century, consists almost completely of family homes, largely built with few floors and small gardens.
It is known for its prison, the Penitenziario di Rebibbia, built in the 1870s.
Rebibbia is the terminus of Line B of the Rome Metro, and is thus well connected to the heart of the city.
Rebibbia also houses one of the most famous Italian prisons, which has been the setting for several films.
