Torre Nasparo

Torre Nasparo is a Renaissance watchtower in Tiggiano that rises from a rocky hilltop with a truncated conical shape built from regular stone blocks. Inside, it contains a barrel-vaulted cistern with remnants of drainage channels.

The tower was built in 1565 during Spanish rule as part of coastal defenses against pirate raids. It served as an active lookout post staffed by watchmen who monitored the seacoast.
