Villa Peragallo

Villa Peragallo features Art Nouveau elements, with decorative ironwork, ceramic tiles, and interconnected spaces allowing natural light throughout the interior rooms.

Built between 1905 and 1907 for Giuseppe Targioni by architect Enrico Dante Fantappie, the villa replaced an earlier structure known as Villa Matilde.

The property includes a private theater and a Greek cross chapel with a frescoed dome, reflecting the social status of early 20th century Italian nobility.

The villa and its architectural complex are currently listed for sale at approximately ten million euros and require substantial restoration work.

During the period between World Wars, the villa hosted costume parties and religious processions before German troops used it as a military command post.
