Villa Mirra, 16th-century villa in Cavriana, Italy

Villa Mirra features grand halls and traditional architectural elements constructed from materials of former city walls and castle structures in Cavriana.

The villa served as headquarters for Austrian Marshal Wurmser during the 1796 battle against Napoleon Bonaparte's forces near Castiglione.

The main hall of Villa Mirra hosted French President Charles De Gaulle and Italian President Giovanni Gronchi for an official breakfast in 1959.

The building now houses the Archaeological Museum of Alto Mantovano and functions as a municipal venue for various events.

Materials used in the 1770 reconstruction of Villa Mirra came directly from the demolished castle that belonged to the Gonzaga family.
