Villa Valcerasa

Villa Valcerasa is a Renaissance residence in Treia with a central noble structure and two extending side wings. The front facade displays elegant arches and porticos characteristic of the period.

Construction of the property occurred between 1794 and 1816, though its origins trace to the 13th century through connections to Blessed Pietro da Treia. The later building phase represents changes that took place over several centuries.

The chapel with its octagonal dome and bell tower reflects religious architecture typical of central Italy, shaping the spiritual character of the property. These elements create a distinct devotional space within the larger estate.

The property sits in a rural setting, roughly 6 kilometers from Treia's town center and about 20 kilometers from Macerata. The gentler months offer easier access to the grounds and gardens for visitors.

The grounds feature Il Roccolo, a specialized hunting pavilion with ornate gardens and a water basin originally designed for entertainment and hunting pursuits. This rare structure reveals the leisure pastimes of its former noble inhabitants.
