TodiCastle, Estate with medieval origins in Baschi, Italy
The TodiCastle estate extends across 45 acres of land on an Umbrian hilltop, featuring gardens, vineyards, and olive groves at 580 meters elevation.
Built around 1100 as a military watchtower, the structure transformed into a monastery in the 15th century with a church dedicated to Saints Julietta and Quiricus.
The estate received recognition as Residenza d'Epoca and earned membership in the Italian Castle circuit Institute, affiliated with UNESCO.
Visitors can explore the grounds daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with accommodations available through the on-site travel agency at Vocabolo Capecchio.
Three architects - Marcello Confetti, Giorgio Leoni, and Vittorio Garatti - collaborated on the restoration project from 1975 to 1980.
