Villa Giovanelli Colonna stands with a monumental entrance stairway leading to a festive portico, featuring six allegorical statues along its balustrades.
The Giovanelli family commissioned architect Antonio Gaspari to build this residence in the late 17th century, with Giorgio Massari adding modifications in 1738.
The interior displays frescoes by Sebastiano Ricci and Giuseppe Angeli, along with two large canvases painted by Luca Carlevarijs.
The villa opens its doors to visitors once per month, offering guided tours that explain the architectural elements and artistic decorations.
The balustrade statues represent the five human senses, with a sixth figure of La Ragione observing them from the top right position.
