Campanile di Mortegliano

The Campanile di Mortegliano is a bell tower with an octagonal base positioned directly beside the adjacent cathedral. The structure displays exposed reinforced concrete, making its modern construction method clearly visible from outside.

The present tower was built starting in 1956 to replace an older structure that had stood near the church since 1490. This new construction represented a shift to contemporary building methods and materials.
