Villa Gradenigo Sabbatini

The grand villa features symmetrical design elements across three levels with a U-shaped layout surrounding a central courtyard and adjoining structures.

Built in 1800 by the Counts Treo from Udine, the estate was later acquired by the Sabbatini family in 1732 and underwent modifications.

The villa houses the Luigi Chiozza library, which contains extensive research materials focused on agricultural development in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

Located at Via Sabbadini 5, the villa maintains its original wrought iron gates and features gardens along the main entrance path.

Archaeological excavations between 1980 and 1987 revealed ancient settlement remains from the 8th to 5th century BC beneath the villa grounds.
