Built between 1927 and 1929 by architect Giuseppe Terragni, the structure marked the introduction of modernist residential architecture in northern Italy.

The reinforced concrete construction with its minimalist design represents a departure from traditional Italian architectural styles toward functional modernism.

Located at Via Giuseppe Sinigaglia 1, the building contains eight apartments per floor arranged along central corridors with natural light from multiple angles.

The cylindrical volume at the corners of the structure creates an optical effect where the building appears to float above the ground level.
