Basilica of San Magno, Renaissance minor basilica in Legnano, Italy

The basilica features an octagonal layout with four pairs of chapels in the corners and a central dome adorned with candelabra decorations.

Construction began on May 4, 1504, funded by the Lampugnani and Vismara noble families, and concluded on June 6, 1513 under Bramante's architectural influence.

The interior displays numerous Renaissance artworks, including frescoes by Gian Giacomo Lampugnani and a significant altarpiece by Bernardino Luini from 1523.

The basilica opens daily for religious services and contains the relic of Saint Magnus, transferred from Sant'Eustorgio Basilica in Milan in 1900.

The bell tower, constructed between 1752 and 1791, stands beside remnants of the original Romanesque tower on the church's south side.
