Villa Bernocchi, Art Nouveau building in Legnano, Italy
Villa Bernocchi displays ornate facades with decorative motifs across its two floors, situated along Via Cavour in the center of Legnano.
The villa was constructed in the early twentieth century for Antonio Bernocchi, owner of the textile factory Cotonificio Bernocchi established in 1868.
In 1980, the Bernocchi family donated the building to Legnano municipality, which transformed it into the Augusto Marinoni public library.
The building spans 700 square meters across multiple levels, with 380 square meters dedicated to library services and 170 for municipal offices.
The villa maintains its original Liberty style architecture while integrating modern library functions, surrounded by gardens in central Legnano.
