Museo storico dell'arma di cavalleria

The museum spans three floors across 5,500 square meters of exhibition space, containing 42 rooms and 240 display cases filled with cavalry artifacts.

Established in 1968, this institution houses military documents dating from the 15th century and preserves cavalry equipment collections starting from 1845.

The museum maintains a collection of 10,000 military library volumes, 200 equestrian books, and numerous original uniforms from the Italian Risorgimento period.

Visitors can access the museum on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 16:30, with special Sunday hours available.

The facility includes a military shrine, a dedicated chapel to Saint George, and an extensive collection of historical carriages and armored vehicles.
