The Santa Maria di Gesù Church features a marble entrance portal from 1507 and contains numerous artistic treasures from different centuries.
The church construction began in 1450 under Blessed Arcangelo from Calatafimi, who established the adjacent convent for the Franciscan Friars Minor.
The main altar displays a sixteenth-century statue of Virgin Mary with Child by Bartolomeo Berrettaro, while side chapels contain valuable religious artworks.
The church offers daily Mass services at 8:30 AM on weekdays and multiple services on weekends, starting from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
The church preserves the incorrupt body of Blessed Arcangelo in an ornate golden wooden urn, with his prayer grotto remaining accessible to visitors.
