Teatro Zandonai, Historic theatre in Rovereto, Italy
The Teatro Zandonai features a hall with 470 seats, velvet chairs, multiple boxes, and classical architectural elements throughout its interior design.
Opening in 1784 with Cimarosa's opera 'Giannina e Bernardone', the theater served as a horse stable during World War I before the municipality purchased it in 1920.
The theater presents approximately 100 performances annually, including operas, dance shows, theatrical productions, and international festivals of arts and sciences.
The venue operates with limited accessibility features, and certain services like the bar, box office, and wardrobe might not be available during all performances.
In 1924, the theater reopened after renovations with 'Giulietta e Romeo', composed by Riccardo Zandonai, after whom the theater was subsequently named.
