Palazzo Del Bene

Palazzo Del Bene is a Renaissance palace at Piazza Rosmini featuring painted decorations depicting seasonal themes and vaulted ceilings adorned with garlands and pomegranates. The interior spaces present a carefully crafted architectural composition with rich decorative detail.

The building dates from the 15th century and originally belonged to the Del Bene family before the counts d'Arco acquired it. In the 19th century it served as a post office until an early 20th-century renovation transformed its character.

Today it houses a foundation and hosts exhibitions along with community events in its ornately decorated halls. The spaces serve as gathering places where art enthusiasts and locals come together.

The palace is centrally located at Piazza Rosmini and easy to reach on foot. It is best to contact the foundation beforehand to confirm current exhibitions or opening hours.

During a 1906 renovation by architect Augusto Sezanne, hidden frescoes were discovered beneath later layers. These artworks reveal the artistic layers of different periods that built up inside the palace.
