Villa Allamel

Villa Allamel rises on three levels and features a C-shaped layout with a garden facing Lake Como in the historic center of Cernobbio.

Built in 1846 by Milanese baron Stefano de Colli, the property changed ownership to banker Ignazio Lejnati in 1875 before being acquired by the Allamel family.

The villa gardens contain numerous plant species including beech trees, cedars, mimosas, magnolias, and traditional lake vegetation such as Lagerstroemia and Pittosporum.

The property underwent extensive renovations between 2013 and 2016 under architect Miyajima Hajime, with engineering work directed by Mario Dotti.

In 1923, the villa received a custom-designed iron and mahogany elevator, representing an early integration of modern technology in historical architecture.
