Santa Maria del Lavello, Religious complex in Calolziocorte, Italy
The monastery features two cloisters with stone columns, cross-vaulted ceilings, and a single-nave church situated along the Adda River bank.
Construction began in 1486 when the Servi of Maria from Bergamo initiated a new church following the discovery of a spring beneath an ancient burial site.
The monastery holds two annual celebrations: the Féra di Cavagnöi on March 25th and the Nativity of Holy Virgin Mary on September 8th.
The sanctuary remains accessible to visitors daily at Via Padre Serviti 1, offering opportunities to explore both the church and cloisters.
The complex contains a double chancel altar system and wooden trusses supported by pointed arches dating from its 1490 reconstruction.
