Torre di San Giovanni di Posada

The Torre di San Giovanni is a cylindrical tower with a conical base constructed from granite blocks along the Posada coastline. The structure rises approximately 10 meters and features an entrance positioned several meters above ground level, emphasizing its defensive design.

The tower was built in 1591 as part of a large network of coastal fortifications designed to repel pirate attacks. This defensive installation played a key role in protecting Sardinia from maritime threats over centuries.
