Spiaggia La Sorgente

Spiaggia La Sorgente extends 80 meters along the northern coast of Portoferraio, featuring small white pebbles and waters that range from turquoise to dark blue.

In 2016, the Municipality of Portoferraio established new navigation safety regulations for vessels operating near the beach to protect swimmers and maintain order.

The beach serves as a meeting point for local residents and visitors who gather to enjoy water activities, including swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddling.

Visitors can access the beach by parking along the provincial road to Enfola, located 4.5 kilometers from Portoferraio, followed by a brief walk down.

The beach sits between white granite cliffs characteristic of northern Elba's coastline, creating a natural geological formation that frames the shoreline.
