Cala Civette

The beach features golden sand stretching along the curved coastline, flanked by dense Mediterranean vegetation and clear turquoise waters extending fifty meters offshore.

The beach takes its name from Torre Civette, a sixteenth-century coastal watchtower built during the Principality of Piombino to protect against maritime invasions.

The beach lies within the protected Bandite di Scarlino nature reserve, representing the traditional Tuscan approach to environmental conservation and public land management.

Visitors must park at Val Martina lot with advance reservations or walk twenty minutes from Cala Violina parking through the nature reserve to reach the beach.

The natural conditions of the beach remain unaltered by modern facilities, as the location lacks amenities such as sunbeds, umbrellas, restrooms, or food services.
