Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire

The Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire features three naves divided by alternating columns and pillars, with six side chapels distributed equally on each side.

The church was constructed in the mid-18th century, replacing an earlier Romanesque structure, with architect Luigi Trezza leading the design process.

The church maintains its role as a central Catholic place of worship in Pescantina, with regular services and community gatherings throughout the year.

The bell tower reaches 80 meters in height and contains twelve bells cast by the Cavadini foundry of Verona.

The current bell tower, built between 1573 and 1773 following Giuseppe Barbieri's design, replaced the original structure and expanded during the 19th century.
