Monte Capanne e promontorio dell'Enfola is a protected natural area along the Tuscan coast featuring cliffs, forests, and coastal formations across multiple elevations. The site spans two distinctive geographical features that create diverse habitats and landscape zones.

The area contains World War II fortifications and tunnel systems integrated into the landscape. A former tuna fishing station operated here from the 1600s until the mid-20th century, marking centuries of coastal fishing activity.

The name reflects the distinctive mountain and headland formations that define this coastal landscape. Visitors can observe rare plant species and birds like the Peregrine Falcon moving freely across the protected terrain.

The best way to explore this area is on foot via trails that pass through varied elevations and natural settings. Bring sturdy footwear and plenty of water, especially during warmer months.

Two distinct beaches connect the Enfola headland to the mainland through a natural sandbar. Just offshore lies an underwater cave called Sbruffo that snorkelers and divers can explore.
