The castle's Longobard tower, built in the 10th century upon Roman foundations, stands as the oldest part of this military structure.
The 16th-century frescoes adorning the main rooms display life-sized horses commissioned by Count Enrico Pandone.
The museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with facilities adapted for wheelchair access.
The collection includes paintings from the National Museum of Capodimonte in Naples and Palazzo Barberini in Rome.
