The Palazzo della Provincia presents an irregular quadrilateral shape with alternating patterns of Trani stone and red bricks along its exterior walls.
The palace, designed by engineer Luigi Baffa and completed in 1935, emerged from a 1930 commission by the Provincial Administration of Bari.
The Pinacoteca Metropolitana inside the palace displays paintings from Apulian, Venetian, Tuscan, and Neapolitan artists spanning from medieval to modern times.
The palace functions as the headquarters of the Metropolitan City of Bari, housing administrative offices and a council chamber for local government operations.
A 62-meter clock tower rises above the building in five distinct levels, marking the Bari skyline and reflecting the design of San Sabino Cathedral.
