The aquarium experienced substantial damage during the 2014 flood, leading to the complete loss of its exhibits and necessitating a comprehensive renovation.
The educational center presents tanks hosting various fish species native to the Po River, from its source to its delta.
The aquarium opens its doors to visitors every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with guided tours explaining the exhibited species.
The renovation project relocated all tanks to the upper floor of the building to prevent future flooding impacts on the aquatic displays.
