Castello Ceconi, Gothic Revival villa in Pielungo, Italy

The castle features medieval towers, Gothic balconies, rectangular windows, and a circular two-tiered fountain adorning the front entrance of the building.

Count Giacomo Ceconi initiated the construction of this residence in 1890 after receiving his noble title from the Crown of Italy.

Statues of Italian literary figures Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca, Ludovico Ariosto, and Torquato Tasso decorate the palace facade.

The castle basement contained ovens for preparing Friulian and Austrian dishes, while electricity came from a nearby river through a generation system.

A dedicated museum room housed the count's personal collection, including mason tools, project drawings, medals, and portraits of his engineering colleagues.
