Salis Palace, Italian national heritage palazzo in Chiavenna, Italy.

The Salis Palace features a late 1500s façade with two flanking towers and a central baroque portal designed by architect Giacomo Barozzi.

The palace has remained under continuous ownership of the Counts Salis family, later known as Sertoli Salis, since its construction in the sixteenth century.

Ten decorated and frescoed rooms form the museum circuit, including the Saloncello, which served as a significant political meeting hall in the 17th century.

The museum tour includes access to the baroque family church, dedicated to Saint Charles Borromeo, and the sixteenth-century rustic court for horses.

The Italian-style inner garden, documented in plans from 1813, stands as one of the most notable gardens in Lombardy and rare in the alpine region.
