Santa Maria Nascente church

Santa Maria Nascente stands in the center of Livigno with a semi-circular tympanum facade divided into two levels by ornamental cornices and pilasters.

The original structure dates from 1300, received consecration in 1469, and underwent major reconstruction between 1884 and 1887, incorporating the previous building.

The interior displays paintings from 1709 by Giorgio Staina depicting scenes from Virgin Mary's life, along with statues of the Four Evangelists on the pulpit.

The church schedules regular mass services on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18:00, Saturdays at 18:00, and Sundays at 08:00, 10:30, 18:00, and 19:30.

The bell tower from the 1600s received its clock and bells during the 1700s, with the bells being replaced in 1860 to maintain their resonant sound.
