Tsurumi-ku, Administrative ward in eastern Osaka, Japan.

Tsurumi-ku extends over 8.16 square kilometers of eastern Osaka, featuring numerous rivers including the Neyagawa River that crosses from east to west.

The ward gained independent status on July 22, 1974, when municipal authorities separated it from Joto-ku to improve local administration efficiency.

The Flower Expo Memorial Park contains educational facilities like the Sakuya Botanical Dome and Earth Environmental Museum, teaching visitors about natural sciences.

Multiple transport routes serve the area, including the Subway Nagahori-Tsurumiryokuchi Line and JR Gakkentoshi Line connecting eastern and western sections.

The ward houses one of Osaka Prefecture's largest urban parks, which hosted the 1990 International Garden and Greenery Exposition.
