Musashi-Urawa is a railway station in Bessho where the Musashino Line and Saikyo Line cross paths. Four elevated platforms serve six tracks positioned above the main entrance hall.
This station opened on September 30, 1985. It has since connected Tokyo with the western part of Saitama Prefecture.
The station platforms incorporate the cherry blossom color scheme, reflecting Japanese traditions in modern transportation infrastructure design elements.
The platforms sit roughly 10 miles (16 kilometers) from Ikebukuro, and around 54,000 travelers pass through daily. The main building sits at ground level beneath the elevated tracks and opens directly onto the street.
