The steel structure of Nagoya TV Tower rises 180 meters into the sky, featuring two observation decks at 90 and 100 meters above ground level.
The tower, completed in 1954 under the direction of architect Tachū Naitō, marked a milestone as the first consolidated radio broadcasting tower in Japan.
The structure earned designation as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2005, cementing its status in Japanese architectural heritage.
Visitors can reach the tower through Hisaya-odori Station or Sakae Station, with admission fees of 1,300 yen for adults and 800 yen for students.
The Tower Hotel Nagoya incorporates the structural framework into room designs, making it the first tower-integrated accommodation facility in the world.
