Mihama, Coastal town in Chita Peninsula, Japan
Mihama extends across 46 square kilometers between Mikawa Bay and Ise Bay, containing numerous beaches and maritime facilities along its shoreline.
The town of Mihama formed in 1955 through the merger of Kowa and Noma villages, later expanding when parts of Kosugaya joined in 1957.
The Sugimoto Art Museum displays collections of Japanese paintings and artifacts, representing the artistic heritage of the Chita Peninsula region.
The Meitetsu railway system connects Mihama to major cities through stations at Kowaguchi and Kaminoma, with regular bus services to Morozaki port.
The Nomazaki Lighthouse stands at the southern point of the peninsula, guiding ships through both Mikawa Bay and Ise Bay waters.
