Oguchi, Administrative town in Niwa district, Japan
Oguchi extends across 13.61 square kilometers of the Nobi Plain in northeastern Aichi Prefecture, with the Gojo River flowing through its territory.
The modern town structure emerged on October 1, 1906, when the villages of Ota, Oguchi, Tominari, and parts of Kashiwamori merged into a single entity.
Three elementary schools, one junior high school, and one high school form the educational foundation of Oguchi, serving its 24,234 inhabitants.
The town houses the headquarters of major industrial companies, including Okuma Corporation and Yamazaki Mazak Corporation, which manufacture machine tools.
The population density reaches 1,775 persons per square kilometer, making Oguchi one of the most densely populated towns in Niwa District.
