Hiroshima Municipal Stadium

Hiroshima Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose sports venue in Minami-ku, a district of the Japanese city of Hiroshima, used primarily for baseball games. The arena features natural grass in both the infield and outfield and holds more than thirty thousand spectators across different tiers of seating.

The current stadium opened in April 2009 and replaced an older venue from 1957 that previously stood on the same site. The redesign brought contemporary facilities closer to the central part of the city.

The facility maintains strong connections with the local community through regular baseball games and serves as home ground for professional sports teams.

The venue is accessible on foot in about ten minutes from Hiroshima Station. Visitors can choose from several seating areas, including terrace and sand sections with varying views of the playing field.

The venue houses a sports bar where spectators can follow games while eating and drinking. Several restaurants sit on the first floor behind the seating rows and offer a range of local and international dishes during events.
