Pre Rup, Temple mountain in Cambodia
Pre Rup is a temple at Angkor, Siem Reap, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman.
Dated to the year 961, it features combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.
The temple's name translates to 'turn the body', which relates to traditional Khmer funerary rituals.
Pre Rup is part of the Angkor Wat temple complex, a major tourist attraction.
It offers a spectacular view during sunset from its upper terraces.
