The Busan Lotte Tower is a supertall skyscraper under construction beside Nampo-dong station in Busan, planned at 67 above-ground floors and 342 m, with seven basement levels. Its design is meant to resemble a standing ship, a nod to the city's harbour. The tower is the centrepiece of Busan Lotte Town, which also comprises a Lotte Department Store wing, an Aqua Mall wing and an entertainment wing. In the photograph only a slice of pale grey tower facade rises beyond a fenced excavation pit lined with orange-and-yellow posts.

Plans for a second Lotte World in Busan date to 1994, with a groundbreaking in 2000 and final city approval in 2007. Construction of the 107-floor, 510 m tower began on 2 March 2009, but work stopped in 2013 over funding and a dispute about residential floors. A redesigned 67-floor, 342 m tower was relaunched at a groundbreaking on 17 August 2023, with completion planned for 2028.

The tower's name changed three times: it was first called Busan Lotte World Tower, became Lotte Town Tower in 2009, and took its current name, Busan Lotte Tower, in 2019. The earlier name was dropped because the complex has no amusement rides and could be confused with Seoul's Lotte World. The design by Kuma Kengo, with architectural work by Samwoo, is meant to resemble a standing ship in reference to the city's harbour.

The site sits next to Nampo-dong station on Busan Subway Line 1, in the old city hall area of Gwangbok-dong. The tower itself is not open: only the department store and the market and cinema phases are built, while the skyscraper core stopped at ground level. Expect a construction site with fencing and excavated ground rather than a viewpoint.
