School of Performing Arts Seoul is an art academy and high school in Guro District, Seoul, South Korea, that specializes in the performing arts. The facility has six departments focusing on theater, film, dance, music, and broadcasting arts.
The institution began in 1966 as Jeonghui High School and moved to its current site in 2008. It started accepting students under its new name in 2009.
The school serves as a training ground for South Korea's entertainment industry and attracts teenagers who want to work in film, music or theater. Many graduates later appear as actors, singers or dancers in Korean productions.
Students receive both regular academic instruction and specialized artistic training within the departments. The curriculum combines general education subjects with practical training in the performing arts.
